I just realized that I may not be the greatest graphic designer or one that will change the world, but I have acquired enough skills and personal style to take a step up from just doing print graphics and make it more broad and versatile which will benefit myself and the company that I would work for. Mean...I don't have to just work for a graphic design company...I don't have to work for a company at all. I have enough skills to work for myself. I have started already with forming my brand that I can see it becoming more popular in the future (At least in the future, when I am financially stable and have promoted my work to the highest) I see my work being more then just posters, editorial design, etc.; I can see it functioning more somehow, I not only see it flat but 3d. I see it wearable, usable, comfortable. I think that is why I work hard...because I see myself and my work become successful in the long run. I don't only see myself doing print, but I see myself and work becoming broad in different fields. So, my work may not be WOW right now, but in the future it will blow peoples mind.
Im just bored with print... most of my school projects have all been print..all been paper....all been flat....Except for my type class, where the teacher lets us do our own things...in that class I really get to create.
I decided to take a fashion course/ garment construction course over the summer. I want to expand the playing fields even more.
